Hot foiling
We offer various foiling methods
- Single-sided and double-sided foiling by covering one or two sides of the sheet with foil.
- Glossy foiling
- Matt foiling
- Structural foiling
- Soft touch foiling
- Anti Scratch foiling – scratch-resistant matt foil
The advantage of foiling the print is the increased durability. Protected prints are resistant to abrasion, scratches and even chemical exposure. Additionally, the foil makes the colours more rich, which significantly increases the attractiveness of the printout. A great advantage of foiled prints is also the possibility of their cleaning.
Varnishing
UV varnishingis one of the most frequently used methods of decorating print. It owes its popularity mainly to the speed of its implementation and effective protection. The applied varnish makes the print more resistant to humidity, mechanical damage (scratches, abrasions) and sunlight. It perfectly protects against abrasion and fading, and at the same time it boosts colour creating an interesting visual effect.
UV glossy lacquer – is a specific product, which is first applied on the printed surface and then fixed with ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Its main components are modified resins and reinforcing compounds.
Hot-stamping
Types of hot-stamping foils
Metallic foils – tandard thermoplastic foils with a metallic look, most often used in silver, gold or copper, other colours are also available.
Pigment foils – are available in various colours, and a choice of glossy or matt.
Embossing
Embossing types
Concave embossing – in other words, down embossing, in which the embossed element is “pressed” into the surface refinement.
Convex embossing – embossing upwards using a specially prepared matrix allows a convex effect. The embossed element is “pulled” upwards, above the surface.
Blind print means pressing (embossing downwards) in the substrate only a pattern without paint, which becomes visible due to light and shadows.
